我们赖以生存的地球每时每刻都经受着来自外太空中高能粒子（亦称宇宙线）的轰击，这些粒子包括质子、正负电子、高能伽马射线、中微子和其他一些原子核等。宇宙线的发现距今已有一百多年，但关于宇宙线的起源、加速与传播过程还没有得到彻底的解答。我国于2015年底发射的首颗天文卫星“悟空”号暗物质粒子探测卫星的核心科学目标之一就是对高能宇宙线能谱进行精确测量，研究宇宙线物理。

中国科大近代物理系韩良领导的科大D0团队，在费米国家加速器实验室的D0实验上，圆满完成利用第一代TeV级强子对撞机Tevatron开展的弱混合角sin2θW精确测量工作。该课题前后经历十一年，产生多篇意义重大的科学论文，并长期保持相关测量的国际最高精度。这一系列研究对于粒子标准模型电弱机制检验、间接探测新物理效应以及高能物理实验技术方法作出了重要贡献。D0实验的最终观测结果发表于Phys. Rev...
